Howell Resident Posted Ex's Nude Pics, Prosecutor Says

Arrest capped 7 month investigation by Ocean County Prosecutor's Office.

A Howell woman is facing charges that she allegedly posted nude pictures of her ex-boyfriend on the internet according to the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office.

Erica Capasso, 26, was charged with one count of third degree invasion of privacy and one count of second degree bias crimes. A press release from Prosecutor Joseph D. Coronato said the bias crimes stem from Capasso posting “racially charged and threatening remarks on the internet in order to intimidate her former boyfriend.”

Capasso’s arrest comes after a 7 month investigation by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crime Unit. They were assisted by Prosecutor Detective Lindsay Fortier-Liaguet in executing an arrest warrant at Capasso’s place of employment.
