Howell Residents Indicted For Shoplifting, Conspiracy

Several indictments concerning Howell were released on July 18.

Several indictments were made by Monmouth County grand juries on July 18 that involved residents of Howell and crimes committed in the area.

  • Catherine Delre, 43, of Freehold was indicted on one count of conspiracy (to commit theft) and one count of shoplifting, both third degree crimes, along with David R. Roth, 41, of Howell. Roth allegedly came to Delre’s cash register at Lowe’s, where he pretended to purchase merchandise while Delre did not actually ring up the items and charge Roth.
  • Robert Hamilton, 20, of Howell was indicted on one count of third degree burglary for allegedly attempting to illegally enter a shed in the township on or about Jan. 18 of this year.
