Lakewood Resident Faces Child Endangerment Charges

Monmouth County Grand Juries release indictments

A Monmouth County Grand Jury has indicted a 40-year-old Lakewood resident on two counts of third degree endangering the welfare of a child.

According to an indictment handed down by a Monmouth County Grand Jury one count against Esther Wolfson stems from an incident on May 12, 2011 involving a 6-year-old in the township. The second count involved an 8-year-old on or about the same date.

  • Ryan M. Christiansen, 42, of Grand Teton Ave. was indicted on one count of first degree assault by auto. In the indictment On or about March 30 he is alleged to have been "driving recklessly and causing bodily injury," to a person. 
  • Stephanie K. DiBenedetto, 22, of Salem Hill Rd. was indicted on one count of third degree theft of movable property. According to the indictment, on or about May 16 of this year DiBenedetto is alleged to have taken gold jewelry valued in excess of $500.
  • Shannon P. Gregory, 20 of Fort Plains Rd., Junior M. Reddick, 23 of Roosevelt Ave. and Pierre Schandall, 21 of Meadowbrook Lane in Freehold were indicted on one count of third degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance. On or about Dec. 30, 2011 they were arrested in Freehold and found to be in possession of a cocaine.
