Late Night Accident Closes Part of Squankum Yellowbrook Road

No serious injuries reported

A car accident late on Wednesday night closed a portion of Squankum Yellowbrook Road with wires down and no serious injuries reported. 

The crash, which reportedly occured around 10:40 p.m. happened between the Howell Board of Education building and Howell High School. Residents in the area said they could hear the impact of the crash from down the road.

Patrolman Anthony Marotto, one of the officers on the scene of the crash, said he was unsure how long the road would be closed at the scene of the accident. He said the car hit a utility pole bringing the wires down near the the vehicle. As of 11:30 patrol cars were on the scene directing traffic away from the scene of the crash.
