Accident occurred near Route 33 and Colts Neck Road.

A Pennsylvania truck driver learned the hard way about one of the more difficult intersections to manage in our area Monday afternoon.

The Howell Police Department reported that on Monday afternoon 47-year-old David Struble of Bensalem was driving a 24 foot box truck eastbound on Route 33 in the area of Colts Neck Road and the Equestra development. Driving near the intersection Struble reportedly attempted to slow down when the truck began to fishtail.

While trying to regain control of the truck Struble struck the guardrail and rolled onto the passenger side. After being removed from the truck the driver was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center with what has been reported as minor injuries.
