No injuries reported in Desai Ct. Fire

Several companies report to late night blaze

A fire on Desai Ct. late Tuesday night caused minimal damage to the home with no injuries reported as a result of the blaze. 

Upon arrival, officers from the found an attached garage at 9 Desai Ct. was on fire but the responding units were able to extinguish the blaze. The Howell Police Department reported the garage sustained damage but the house itself only sustained minor smoke damage. There were no injuries reported as a result of the fire.

An initial inspection of the scene by the Howell Fire Bureau ruled the cause of the fire to be accidental. The investigating officer is Ptl. James Alexander along with the fire bureau.

Along with the local police department the Adelphia and Farmingdale fire companies responded to the scene. They were joined by the Howell, Farmingdale and Ramtown first aid squads.
