Pair Charged With Shoplifting From WalMart
Indictment also says the two had drugs at the time of the arrest
Two people were indicted by a Monmouth County grand jury Tuesday on charges of shoplifting from the Howell WalMart, according to court documents.
Douglas Clayton, 29, of Bayville, and Shannon Bane III, 26, of Ocean Gate, were indicted on shoplifting charges stemming from a February arrest at the Route 9 retailer.
The pair tried to steal $1,246 in merchandise from the store, according to the indictment. The two were additionally charged with possession of oxycodone and xanax, the indictment says.
