Police: Trenton Women Attempt to Shoplift Wal-Mart TV

Freehold Township police charged two women with shoplifting after they attempted to steal a television valued over $400.

Two women have been charged with shoplifting after they allegedly worked together to steal a television from the Freehold Wal-Mart.

Edna M. Suell, 38, and Lisa A. Johnson, 46, both of Trenton, each face one shoplifting charge after they allegedly removed a television valued at $428 from the store.

According to the women’s complaint warrant, on Monday, March 11 Suell removed the television from Wal-Mart while Johnson removed the lost prevention device. Both complaint warrants state that the women worked together to load the television into their car.

For the alleged action, both women have been remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution (MCCI) on $2,500 bail each.
