Roadwork Brings Closure to Route 9 Saturday Night

Weather permitting work will be done at Route 9 and Lanes Mill Road into Sunday morning.

Long after most drivers have gotten off the road on Saturday night the New Jersey Department of Transportation will be working to improve the intersection of Route 9 and Lanes Mill Road.

According to information from the township a traffic signal pole and arm will be installed at the intersection starting at midnight and going until around 8 a.m. on Sunday morning. The roadwork will mean a closure of the roadway heading north to ensure the safety of the workers.

The detour will use an existing ramp from Lanes Mill Road which will get drivers back on Route 9 North without too much interference.
