State Police Investigating Along 195

Expected to last several hours

The New Jersey State Police will be conducting an investigation in the area of exit 31 of Route 195 on Friday.

According to a message sent on their , the investigation should "extend into the afternoon hours." Ramps to the highway which were temporarily closed will remain open while the "ongoing investigation," continues the state police said. 

Motorists should expect to see State Police personnel walking near the roadway and are encouraged to proceed with caution to ensure their safety. The message from the state police said there is "no threat to public safety," as part of the investigation.
