The Howell Police Department has announced that a stretch of West Farms Road has been closed after a downed tree brought down primary wires and resulted in a transformer fire.
The road is closed between Georgia Tavern Road and Richard Road according to Detective Sgt. Eileen Dodd. There is no word on when the street will be reopened.
