Alerted by Tips, Howell PD Makes Arrest for Alleged Drug Dealing

A township resident is charged with illegal drug distribution and possession.

The Howell Township Police Dept. Narcotics Task Force has arrested a 47-year old township woman on charges of drug distribution and possession following a police investigation.

Residents had complaints of suspected drug sales in the area.

Jeanine Anochin of Middle Lane was arrested at 12:45 p.m. on Friday and charged with illegal drug distribution, possession of 50 decks of heroin, oxycodone and drug paraphernalia. Approximately $2,400 in cash was also seized, police said. 


The investigation was led by Ptl. T.J. Hurley and Pt. Ryan Richards and conducted with the assistance of other Howell officers, including K-9 officer Jago.
