Howell Reorganization Meeting Schedule

Township Council and BOE meetings set

The Howell Township Council and the Howell Public Schools will not waste any time getting ready for 2013 as they hold their reorganization meetings this week.

The council will hold its reorganization meeting on Jan. 1 at 12 p.m. at the new Municipal Building. At that time Deputy Mayor Bill Gotto will be sworn in to succeed Mayor Robert Walsh. The process to replace Gotto's seat on the council will also begin. It will also be the first official meeting for Councilman-Elect Ed Guz who was voted into office in November.

On Thursday, Jan. 3 the Howell Board of Education will hold its annual reorganization at 8 p.m. at Middle School North. The meeting will be the first for newly elected members Charles Welsh and Jeanne DePompo while current Board President Tim O'Brien will begin a new term.
