JCP&L to Start Tree Pruning Operations

Work should help keep wires clear

JCP&L announced recently that crews will be coming to Howell to prune trees in the area of their wires.

In an email from the Howell Mayor and Council the work is being done as part of the utility's effort to provide "reliable electric service for you and your neighbors in clearance between electric wires and trees."

There was no specific information given for when and where the work will be done. The hope is that clearing the wires will "help prevent outages and related problems."
