Mobile Food Pantry Coming to Howell

Residents can pick up food on Wednesday afternoon.

As the weather gets colder and summer turns to fall and then to winter the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties is gearing up to provide food to as many people as possible with a mobile food pantry delivery system.

The mobile distribution will be coming to the old Town Hall on Preventorium Road on Wednesday afternoon from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m and is meant for people with low incomes, unemployed, underemployed or just need help providing food for their families.

Items distributed will be non-perishable food items as well as produce and baked goods. People wishing to pick up a delivery are asked to bring ID. Anyone with questions is encouraged to contact Laurel King or Dan Ratner at 732-918-2600.
