Township Council Announces Slate of Meetings for 2011

The Howell Township Council recently released its schedule of meetings for the 2011 calendar year. After Holding the reorganization meeting this past Saturday on New Years Day, the first workshop meeting is set for tonight at 7:30.

The meeting on Jan. 4 is slated to be a workshop meeting, with the first regular meeting of the year to be held on Jan. 18. The February meetings will be held on the first and the 15th, and the March meetings are slated for the same dates in that month.

In April, the workshop meeting is scheduled to be held on the fifth, with the regular meeting on the 19th. May 10th will be the workshop meeting in the fifth month of the year, with the regular meeting being held on the 24th. 

Before the council shifts to its summer schedule, a workshop meeting will be held on June 14, before meeting again for the regular meeting on June 28. After that the only meetings before labor day are on the calendar for July 12 and Aug. 16. 

Once September rolls around, the workshop meetings are back, starting on the sixth, with the regular meeting to be held on the 20th. Going into October, the workshop is scheduled for the fourth, with the regular meeting on the 18th.

With the holidays once again rapidly approaching, the council will hold its workshop meeting on Nov. 1 and the regular meeting on the 22nd. They are then scheduled to have their last regular meeting of the year on Dec. 13
