Tuesday is Voter Registration Deadline

No local elections in Howell but plenty of others at county and state level

Residents of Monmouth County have until 9 p.m. on Tuesday to register to vote in the November elections. 

For those who have not yet registered, the Monmouth County Voter Registration office, located at 300 Halls Mills Rd. in Freehold will be open until 9 p.m. tonight for anyone interested. In order to register, residents need a valid driver's license or Motor Vehicle Commission identification or Social Security number.

In order to register you must a U.S. Citizen, have turned 18-years-old by the election, have lived in Monmouth County for 30 days before the election and not be incarcerated, on probation or on parole as the result of a felony conviction.

The Nov. 8 ballot will include the entire state legislature, which for Howell means the newly 30th legislative .
