Get Hired This Month at Brookdale Job Fair

Workshops will be held on Feb. 16 and 17 in advance of Feb. 24 event

Brookdale and its Long Branch satellite want to get you a job this month. On Feb. 24 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. the , 213 Broadway, will host its annual free job fair.

Last year when Brookdale Community College held the fair, some who came in jobless were snatched up by the businesses there looking to hire. Organizers are hoping that the event will be a success again this year and they are kicking it off with workshops for job hunters.

Priority pass holders will be welcomed from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. with open admission from 10 a.m to 2 p.m. The priority passes will be issued in advance and through program sponsors to individuals who are enrolled in a verified job readiness program or attend a resumé and interview skill workshop. The workshops will be offered at the Brookdale Long Branch Higher Education Center on Feb. 16 and Feb. 17. Call 732-229-8440 for sign up information. Seats are limited.
