Howell Mania Events Scheduled For Late May

Annual event featuring the school district's special education students

The annual Howell Mania event, hosted by the Howell Township School District special education parent group, is scheduled for May 21-22. 

The event, showcasing the athletic talents of the district’s special education students, will be held over two consecutive days and will feature a bowling tournament and field events, according to event organizers.

This year’s Track & Field Day is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 21, with a rain date of May 23 at the Howell Middle School South field. Each athlete will participate in four events.

Howell Lanes, address goes here, will play host to the second day of strictly bowling competition, running from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Preschoolers are not excluded. On May 30, PreSchool Funday is scheduled at  Newbury School. Two sessions are planned from 9:30 am. to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Festivities include bounce houses and sensory crafts such as stringing colored macaroni noodles. A healthy snack is included. Parents of students are welcome to attend the events, but will be unable to leave with their children.

The Howell Mania events are sponsored by the district’s Special Education Paretn Advisory Committee.
