Howell Schools Announce Delayed Opening for Tuesday
Latest storm forces delay at schools after three day weekend
The Howell Township school district announced on Monday night that schools will start 90 minutes late on Tuesday.
In addition, the Freehold Regional High School District will also have a 90 minute delayed opening. Homeroom at Howell High School will start at 9 a.m., while Colts Neck and Freehold Township High Schools will start at 10 a.m.
The National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory that called for snow, sleet and freezing rain into the early morning hours. The storm is expected to shift to rain by 9 a.m.
