Howell Schools Monitoring Approaching Storm

The track of the powerful storm expected to hit our area still has not been determined but the Howell Public Schools are already preparing for its arrival. 

According to an email from the district schools are expected to open on time Friday but may not finish running on a regular schedule. The email advises parents to "please be prepared for an early dismissal if weather conditions change suddenly and there are safety concerns."

Those parents who are concerned about the schedule change will be notified by the district's calling system, newsbytes and the district's website. "The safety of our students and staff is always at the forefront of any decision," the email said.
