Hurricane Sandy Forces Schedule Change for Howell Schools This Week

Half day today, open on Monday

Following Hurricane Sandy the Howell Public Schools were forced to change their schedule including the times for today and Monday. 

Schools will be open for a half day today and will also be a staff in-service day. The Middle Schools will be dismissed at 12:10 p.m. Aldrich, Greenville, Griebling and Ramtown Students will be dismissed at 12:50, morning kindergarten will dismiss at 10:10 and afternoon kindergarten is scheduled to arrive at 10:45.

Adelphia, Ardena, Land O'Pines, Newbury and Taunton students will be dismissed at 1:30. Morning kindergarten will be dismissed at 10:50 at those schools.

Howell schools will be open on Monday for a full day. The original schedule for the year had schools closed for President's Day.

The Freehold Regional High School District will also have full days today and Monday.

After canceling the Board of Education meeting scheduled for this past Wednesday, it has been rescheduled to be held on February 20 at 8 p.m.
