30 Days to Election

30 Days to Election

On November 6th voters across the country will cast their vote to determine the direction of our nation. We know that electing Democrats up and down the ballot is the best way to move our country forward and create new jobs here in New Jersey. With only 30 days until the election, I ask that you take a few seconds to sign up and join our fight for New Jersey’s Middle Class.

Every day we are building our grassroots team and now is the time to join us, if you haven’t already. With your help, our “Get out the Vote” (GOTV) operation will be prepared to communicate our message directly to the voters and make sure they get out to the polls to elect our Democratic team.

How can you help?

1. Make phone calls at our phone banks throughout the county.

2.  Place our lawn sign to show your support.

3. Work on the “Get out the Vote” operation to support Democrats throughout the ticket.

We need your support to finish this important work. Please consider taking just a few seconds out of your day to sign up and help us get our message to the voters and continue moving Monmouth County forward.

PS - If you aren’t able to volunteer your time, you can offer your financial support by donating  today at Shea/Lavan 2012, P.O. Box 155, Hazlet, NJ  07730

Do you value life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? Vote Republican down the line. The Republican platform is the platform of our founding Fathers. It values the traditional family and family values while respecting the individuals freedom to privacy. The Republican platform is closest to the platform that our founding Fathers would have espoused, belief in God, respect for others (the Golden Rule), preserving life from the womb to the tomb. It is the party of Abe Lincoln and Ronald Reagan. Republicans do not re-write history or brainwash the youth with ideas contrary to American ideals. They don't apologize for America - they extol its merits and blessings. God bless America - vote for a real change - Vote Republican.

It is alarming that so many people WANT the government to boss them around!

Just wondering, -Does the Personhood Constitutional Amendment proposed by the Republicans grant Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness to women…or take it away? (Also, Eddie, is it your womb you were talking about, or someone else’s?) -Didn't our founding fathers’ platform say people didn't have to believe in God/Religion and that the Government couldn’t impose one. -What is a ‘traditional family’, by whose tradition, and starting when? -Is tapping phones or collecting private information for national security without a warrant a form of respect for individual privacy? -My mother always told me to apologize when I do something wrong or, for example, accidentally hurt people. Does that rule apply to countries and peoples?

Those 5-4 Supreme Court decisions by Republican appointed Justices telling us for one that corporations are people too in Citizen United. . .preaches more respect for the Constitution. Where is that written: either in the Constitution or it's amendments? The first amendment states that Congress shall make no law abridging freedom of people's speech, or it's conduit...the press?
