Holiday Weekend Brings Chance of Rain and Closures

Labor Day means end of summer in Howell

For those looking to end their summer in the warm weather, today and tomorrow figure to be your best chances to bid farewell before the fall arrives and it is time to go back to school. 

The National Weather Service is predicting a high temperature of 8t degrees for today dropping down to a low of 69 tonight. The forecast for tomorrow looks equally good during the day with a high of 81 but a slight chance of storms and a low of 66 tomorrow night. 

Labor Day also brings a 40 percent chance of rain with a high of 83 and a low of 68.

With the holiday weekend the offices will be closed on Monday and curbside recycling for zone F will not be picked up on Monday. Those residents will have their recycling collected on Saturday. All branches of the Monmouth County Library will also be closed on Monday including the . 

The meeting of the Mayor and Council meeting on Tuesday will also be held at rather than Town Hall.
