Hot Days and Possible Storms Mark This Week's Forecast

Forecast calls for highs near 90 throughout the week.

Even the threat of scattered storms throughout the week is not enough to break the heat the National Weather Service (NWS) is predicting for our area this week.
After the torrential rains of Sunday night the NWS is calling for a high of 90 on Monday and a 20 percent chance of rain followed by a low of 69 Monday night with a 30 percent chance of scattered thunderstorms.

Tuesday looks to be much of the same with a high of 89 and a 30 percent chance of storms followed by a low of 70 at night and a 20 percent chance of rain. Wednesday should be nearly identical with a high of 90 and a low of 69 at home and more of the same on Thursday with a 50 percent chance of showers at night.

The last weekend of June looks to be a wet one with a 50 percent chance of rain on Friday and a high near 85 before dropping to a low of 68 at night. Saturday has a 40 percent chance of rain with a high near 84 and a low near 67 at night.
