The Second Annual Brennan Stands Alone Foundation 5K Run Walk is scheduled to be held on Saturday on Hiering Ave. on the Boardwalk in Seaside Heights.
Registration starts at 9 a.m. with the race itself set to start an hour later.
The proceeds for the event benefit the foundation started by Howell resident Brian Brennan who was wounded in battle and now assists fellow soldiers as they recover from their injuries. The 1st Lt. Brennan Stands Alone Foundation holds other fundraising events including a at Southard Fire Department.
