Part of the property includes the township’s old engineering building but does not include the access roads to the old Town Hall or property leased by the Howell Board of Education. As part of the agreement the township has agreed to demolish the engineering building within one year of the closing date. That includes any environmental remediation and needed site improvements and restorations.

The council is also set to introduce an ordinance that will change the salary range for various positions in the township. The positions include the Chief of Police, the Chief Financial Officer, The Tax Assessor and Collector, the Township Clerk, the Clean Communities Coordinator and the Deputy Manager position which is not currently filled.
