UPDATE: Lost Dogs Wait For Owners

Reportedly in good health one day after being found

A few calls have been made to the St. Francis Animal Clinic about the two dogs found on Five Point Road Yesterday, but so far they have not been returned to their homes.  Chris Yourth, a lead technician at the clinic said one dog appears to be a black and white male pitbull while the other is a sandy or tan colored female that he believes may be a mix of a chihuahua and a pomeranian. Yourth said he encourages the owners of the dogs to claim them at any time, but said they will have to prove they are the rightful owners of the pups. Things like medical histories and pictures will help prove proper ownership.   The dogs, he said, have collars but no tags and do not appear to be microchipped which has complicated finding their proper homes. …
