Marlboro High School Cheerleaders Give Back to Sandy Victims
The Marlboro High School Cheerleaders prepared and delivered sandwiches to Belmar residents devastated by Hurricane Sandy.
The cheerleaders of Marlboro High School decided to use their cheerful spirit to brighten up the lives of those negatively affected by Hurricane Sandy, according to a release issued by the Freehold Regional High School District. The cheerleaders prepared 150 sandwiches from donations for Belmar residents who were displaced from the storm. "As the students prepared and delivered the sandwiches, I had the opportunity to watch them offer their words of kindness to strangers. I am not only a proud coach, but a lucky one, because not all coaches get to work with such an amazing group of children who would do so much for others," Coach Lauren Segarra said.
