Michael Guadagno, Husband of Lt. Gov., Elevated to Appellate Judge

Guadagno had been a Superior Court judge

Superior Court Judge Michael Guadagno, the husband of Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno, has been elevated to the Appellate Division effective Aug. 1, state Supreme Court Chief Justice Stuart Rabner announced late Tuesday. Guadagno, a Monmouth Beach resident, was appointed to the bench in 2005 by Gov. Richard Codey. He served as a family court judge in Monmouth County until 2008 when he was transferred to the family court in Ocean County. In 2010, he returned to Monmouth County as presiding judge of the family court. He served a temporary assignment to the Appellate Division earlier this year.
