New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie has announced the appointment of several local residents to the New Jersey-Israel Commission, according to a press release from the governor’s office. State Sen. Robert Singer was one of the people reappointed to the commission. The longtime representative was part of the state's delegation during an official visit by the Governor to Israel last year The commission, part of the New Jersey Department of State, was established in 1989.
