Indictment also says the two had drugs at the time of the arrest
Two people were indicted by a Monmouth County grand jury Tuesday on charges of shoplifting from the Howell WalMart, according to court documents. Douglas Clayton, 29, of Bayville, and Shannon Bane III, 26, of Ocean Gate, were indicted on shoplifting charges stemming from a February arrest at the Route 9 retailer. The pair tried to steal $1,246 in merchandise from the store, according to the indictment. The two were additionally charged with possession of oxycodone and xanax, the indictment says.

Pair caught with concealed merchandise and one in possession of heroin, police say
Two Howell women were arrested and charged with shoplifting from a Freehold Township department store -- one with additional drug charges, according to arrest warrants. Amelia Bates, 25, of Eagle Ct., was arrested and charged with shoplifting on Tuesday after she was caught leaving the Lord & Taylor store with $896 in clothing she did not pay for, the warrant says. Carol A. Carney, 24, of Windeler Road, also was charged with shoplifting when she was caught concealing $346 in clothing from the same store, warrants say. A Newark woman allegedly attempted to shoplift two Michael Kors handbags from Lord & Taylor.
Freehold Township Police charged a Newark woman with shoplifting after she allegedly attempted to steal designer handbags from a Freehold Raceway Mall department store. Coulette K. Stokes, 46, of Holiday Court is accused of trying to take two Michael Kors handbags from Lord & Taylor on Wednesday, Jan. 23. According to Stoke’s complaint warrant, she concealed the bags under her dress. Together, the bags totaled $676. Stokes has been remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution (MCCI) on $5,000 bail.

The man allegedly attempted to steal perfume valued over $200.
A Freehold resident has been accused of shoplifting from a Freehold Raceway Mall store. Odilio Rodriguez, 25, of Hull Ave, faces one charge of shoplifting after he allegedly attempted to take a bottle of perfume from Sears. According to his complaint warrant, Rodriquez was arrested and charged by Freehold Township Police on Tuesday, Jan. 15. The perfume Rodriguez allegedly attempted to steal was valued at $215. Rodriquez has been remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution (MCCI) on $1,000 bail.

Woman allegedly took over $300 worth of items from Macy’s and Nordstrom.
A Freehold woman faces two shoplifting charges after she allegedly took make up, perfume, clothing and Waterford crystal from two Freehold Raceway Mall stores. Laurie Martucci, 47, of Tulip Lane, was arrested on Wednesday with over $300 worth of stolen items. According to the complaint warrant, Martucci stole makeup from Nordstrom and took the other items from Macy’s. The makeup items were valued at $52 while the clothing, perfume and crystal were valued at $306. Matrucci has been remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution (MCCI) on $6,000 bail.

A woman allegedly stole six computers from Wal Mart.
Freehold Township Police arrested a Somerset woman after she allegedly stole multiple computers from Wal Mart. According to the complaint warrant, Quyteasea Pryor, 37, took six computers from Wal Mart between Tuesday, Dec. 4 and Thursday, Dec. 6. The total value of the computers was approximately $2,916. Proyer was arrested on Thursday, Dec. 6. She has been remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution (MCCI) on $20,000.

Adelphia man allegedly concealed seven video games in his pants in an attempt to shoplift them.
Freehold Township Police arrested an Adelphia man after he attempted to conceal seven video games from Wal Mart on Saturday. Dwayne Castiglione, 36, of Adelphia, faces one charge of shoplifting after he attempted to take video games valued at $219.72 from Wal Mart. According to the complaint warrant, Castiglione concealed the video games in his pants. Castiglione has been remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution (MCCI) on $5,000 bail.

Man charged with robbery with force and shoplifting.
A Queens Man faces two charges after he allegedly struck a store employee while shoplifting. Mustafa Miloudi, 27, of Welling Court, was arrested Monday by Freehold Township Police at the JC Penney store in the Freehold Raceway Mall. According to Miloudi’s complaint warrant, he attempted leave the store and shoplift jeans valued at $135. When approached by a store employee, Miloudi allegedly struck the man with a closed fist. Miloudi has been remanded to the Monmouth County Correction Institution on $51,000 bail.

An Eatontown resident allegedly had over $400 of stolen merchandise in her possession at the time of her arrest.
An Eatontown woman faces assault and shoplifting charges after she allegedly assaulted a loss prevention officer at the Freehold Raceway Mall. A Sears loss prevention officer stopped Alexandria I. Ortiz, 19, of Meadowbrook Ave, on Thursday when they allegedly observed her attempting to steal merchandise. According to the complaint warrant, Ortiz punched and kicked the officer when he apprehended her and threatened him by saying “Don’t you worry, you’re going to get yours”. The complaint warrant continues to explain that Ortiz had in her possession over $200.50 worth of stolen merchandise from Abercrombie & Fitch, Charlotte Russe, and Hollister at the time of her arrest. Both Nordstrom and the Apple Store were allegedly hit by shoplifters last week, according to the Freehold Township Police Department. According to a complaint warrant, on Thursday, June 28 Jeffery P. Jadach, 29, of Iselin, allegedly concealed six watches and two belts and knowingly attempted to leave the Nordstrom department store in the Freehold Raceway Mall.
