Howell Man Pronounced Dead Following Accident at Atlantic City Service Area on Garden State Parkway
Joseph Cohen, 62, was pronounced dead after his car struck a parked front end loader Friday night.
A 62-year-old man from Howell was pronounced dead after his car struck a parked front-end loader at the Atlantic City Service area at mile marker 41.3 on the Garden State Parkway in Galloway Township Friday night, Jan. 18, State Police said. Joseph Cohen's Volkswagen Jetta struck the front-end loader at 9:52 p.m., striking the southgate portion of the loader, according to police. The jetta suffered heavy damage to the front, and the loader suffered no damage, according to police. Cohen was extrciated by the Pomona Volunteer Fire Company, police said. Cohen was unrestrained and unresponsive and was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division. He was pronounced dead at the hospital, according to police. The cause of the…
