Indictments handed down by Monmouth County Grand Juries
Donna L. Fairbairn, 50, of Oak Glen Road was indicted on two counts by a Monmouth County grand jury for incidents occurring around the county between October and December of last year. Fairbairn was indicted on one count of third degree forgery for allegedly forging checks in and around Manasquan, Sea Girt and Wall. She was also indicted on one count of third degree theft by deception for obtaining more than $500 as a result of the alleged forgery. In other indictments: Martin C. Kirsch, 25, of East 3rd Street and Erik E. Holton, 19 of West 5th Street were each indicted on one count of third degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office announces indictements
Marco A. Ayala, 19, of East 6th Street was indicted on two charges by a Monmouth County Grand Jury including one count of third degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance and one count of fourth degree obstructing the administration of law or other governmental function. According to the indictment on or about August 25, 2012 Ayala was arrested in the township in possession of heroin. In other news: Alice Anderson, 51, of Hollywood Avenue was indicted on one count of third degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance after being arrested in Neptune on or about October 7, 2012. Listed in stable condition
A Howell resident was listed in stable but critical condition at Jersey Shore University Medical Center following a crash at the intersection of Ford Road and Kent Road. According to Sgt. Joseph Markulic 25-year-old Nicholas Szydlowski was driving a 1997 Honda Accord eastbound on Ford Road when he ran a stop sign at the intersection. At that time he hit the passenger door of 24-year-old Jackson resident Daniel Jacobsen who was driving north on Kent Road. As a result of the crash 24-year-old Howell resident Eugene Szydlowski, a passenger in his brother's Honda suffered critical injuries and was taken to the hospital. Monmouth County Grand Jury hands down indictments
Jeffrey Smith, 44, whose last known address was Carol Lane in Howell and Wanda R. Williams, 45, of Asbury Park were indicted on several charges by a Monmouth County Grand Jury. Smith was indicted on one count of third degree burglary for an incident on or about October 17, 2012 when he was alleged to have illegally entered Tattooville, or another part of the business in Neptune on Route 35. Williams was indicted on one count of third degree receiving stolen property for allegedly taking assorted jewelry valued in excess of $500 from the same business. Max Wegler, 19, of Cobblestone Drive was indicted on one count of third degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance by a Monmouth County grand jury. According to the indictment on or about October 15, 2012 Wegler was found in possession of heroin in the township.

Christian A. Hanvey, 19, of Newtons Corner Road was indicted on one count of third degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance by a Monmouth County Grand Jury. According to the indictment, on or about October 15, 2012 Hanvey was found to be in possession heroin in the township. In other news from the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office: Jaime C. Gallo, 29 of Toms River was indicted on one count of attempted obtaining of a controlled dangerous substance by Fraud. The indictment claims that on or about December 11, 2012 Gallo attempted to obtain oxycodone "by misrepresentation, fraud, forgery, deception or subterfuge."

Con men see opportunities in disaster. That's not a new idea, Monmouth County Acting Prosecutor Christopher Gramiccioni said. Following Hurricane Sandy, with tens of thousands of residents, many of them right here in the county, rebuilding their lives, there needs to be protection for those who are most vulnerable, he said. Bradley Hall, 37, of Adelphia Road was indicted on one count of second degree assault by auto on or within 1000 feet of school property by a Monmouth County Grand Jury. According to the indictment, on or about December 7, 2011 Hall is alleged to have been "driving a vehicle recklessly and causing bodily harm," to a person within 1000 feet of Marlboro High School. In other indictments: Mark Forman, 39, of Sunnyside Road was indicted on two counts of third degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Convicted of three robberies throughout Monmouth County
Edgar Torres, 45, was sentenced to 40 years in state prison after being convicted of three bank robberies in a three month stretch between 2010 and 2011. Torres was convicted of robbing the Provident Bank in Howell in December of 2010, the Chase Bank in Howell in January of 2011 and the February 2011 robbery of the Chase Bank in Ocean Township. According to a press release from the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office during each robbery Torres would attempt to "conceal his identity," and would then display a handgun and demand money from a teller. The conviction came after a joint investigation by the prosecutor's office and the Howell Police Department. He was arrested on February 25, 2011. Torres was convicted in November. The case …
