Really??? Where's the money? I live on the water in Brick NJ, I have damage and haven't seen a penny or help except for my flood insurance. I have friends that lost everything and have yet to see anyone helping them! All i see is companies staffing up but no help getting to the ones in need. Who helps them???

KC... GasLand is fabricated! Don't believe it! The faucet they lit on fire has nothing to do with fracking. In fact that piece was from somewhere out west where no fracking is being done within 500 miles. That said, a new movie is out starring Matt Damon depicting similar issues. The real issue is the sludge ponds, not the fracking. Check out TruthLand on YouTube, made by a real land owner in PA.

I live in Cherry Quay and the water came over the bulkhead last Friday. Only the 2nd time in the 10 years i have been here (Sandy being the 1st). Every storm going forward will have the potential to flood. Sandy caused a lot of sand and material to be dumped in the bay so now it take less water to flood. Kind of like sitting in the bath tub with it half full then turning the water on.. Takes a lot less water to overflow with considerably more displacement to begin with. They will need to consider dredging the bay in my opinion. Any fluid dynamics experts out there?

i used the ramp often to launch a small 15' Speedster. it was very convenient to drop it in with my son taking the boat and me heading back to the house. $100 buys a lot of fuel for a small boat. As a taxpayer in Brick for 9 years on a lagoon it would be nice to get something in return.
