Monmouth County Events in July

From the Fourth of July to the 39th Annual Monmouth County Fair, there's plenty to do this month

July kicks off with fireworks throughout Monmouth County.

One of the most popular Fourth of July events in Monmouth County is Long Branch’s annual OceanFest, which features food, vendors, bands, exhibits and one of the state’s largest firework displays.

But aside from the Fourth of July, Monmouth County has a variety of events happening throughout the month. Read on for more details.

Independence Day

  • July 3, 6 p.m., Community picnic and fireworks, Joe Palaia Park on Deal Road in Ocean Township, Rain date is July 5
  • July 4, 10:30 a.m., Fourth of July Parade on Main Avenue in Ocean Grove
  • July 4, noon to 4 p.m., Fourth of July Holiday Racing at Monmouth Park Racetrack, pony rides, clowns, face painters, bounce house and music
  • July 4, 1 p.m., Annual OceanFest and Fireworks at Oceanfront Promenade in Long Branch
  • July 4, 5:30 p.m., Concert and Fireworks at Freehold Raceway, Rain date is July 5
  • July 4, dusk, Fireworks on the beach in Asbury Park
  • July 4, 9 p.m., Fireworks on Bradley Beach, Rain date is July 5
  • July 5, 6 p.m., Independence Day Celebration, Veterans Memorial Park in Hazlet, Fireworks at 9:15 p.m., Rain date is July 6
  • July 5, at dark, Atlantic Highland’s Fireman’s Fair and Fireworks Display at 9:45 p.m., Atlantic Highlands Municipal Harbor Simon Lake Drive
  • July 5, Manasquan Patriotic Celebration, which includes a bicycle decorating contest at the Little League Field at 5:30 p.m., a parade at 6:30 p.m. at the Manasquan Coast Guard Station, a concert at the Main Beach at 7:30 p.m. and fireworks at dusk at Main Beach at Main Street and First Avenue
  • July 5, 7:30 p.m. Music entertainment and fireworks at dusk at Lloyd Road and Girard Street in Aberdeen
  • July 6, 8 p.m., Independence Day Concert at 22 Pilgrim Pathway in Ocean Grove
